SAFECHEM expands global footprint into North America

SAFECHEM has expanded its global reach by making foray into North America. Adding to its well-established network of distribution partners in Western and Eastern Europe, as well as China, SAFECHEM has forged distribution alliances with Brulin, Inc. as well as Hubbard-Hall in the US.

Initially, both chemical specialists will be supplying SAFECHEM’s DOWCLENE™* 16-Series of modified alcohols, along with its associated test kits and stabilizers, to US customers. Further SAFECHEM's products and service offerings will be added to the partners' portfolios in the future.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, BHC, Inc. is a family-owned company with a particularly strong focus on the aviation sector in industrial part cleaning. The company manufactures specialty chemicals for markets as diverse as the Building Maintenance, Healthcare, Industrial and Food Service.

With over 170 years of business history, Hubbard-Hall, a family-owned and woman-led company based in Connecticut, specializes in complex surface cleaning, metal finishing and wastewater treatment problems. In particular, it boasts a strong solvent footprint on the East Coast.

Commenting on this new venture, Manfred Holzleg, General Manager of SAFECHEM, said: "With the US accounting for a large share of the global industrial cleaning market, we have been planning a strategic move into this all-important geography for a long time, and have been working diligently behind the scene to make this a reality. With Brulin and Hubbard-Hall, we have found two highly committed, high-caliber partners who not only command excellent knowledge of their markets and the latest cleaning technology, but more importantly, who share the same values as we do, namely sustainability, innovation and collaboration."

"The establishment of these two strong US alliances marks another significant milestone for SAFECHEM. We welcome Brulin and Hubbard-Hall as new members of our global distributor network, and we very much look forward to working closely together to help US manufacturers benefit from the versatility of modified alcohols in their industrial cleaning process."
