The company’s approach to ESG remains practical and focused – grounded in the core priorities of ethical business conduct, safety, responsible chemical management, and environmental stewardship.
In 2025, the company continued to build on its foundations, strengthening governance structures, supply chain oversight, and customer-focused sustainability solutions.
Key Highlights from the 2025 ESG Report:
1. Corporate Governance & Digital Resilience: SAFECHEM strengthened its digital and IT security by maintaining a Microsoft Secure Score above 90%, establishing a formal incident response framework for potential cybersecurity events, and completing cloud-based system upgrades to enhance system reliability and security resilience.
2. Product Stewardship & Digital Innovation: In 2025, SAFECHEM trained 466 operators through its CHEMAWARE™ Solvent Trainings – a 15% increase year-over-year and well above its annual target of 250. The company also expanded its digital capabilities with MAXICHECK™ Connect, an automated solvent testing solution that enables improved process stability and predictive maintenance.
3. Supply Chain Accountability: SAFECHEM achieved a 100% sign-off rate on its Business Partner Code of Conduct across all distribution partners, contract manufacturers and fillers ahead of schedule. Enhanced oversight measures – including on-site audits and an upgraded barcode tracking application for its closed-loop solvent storage containers, SAFE-TAINER™ System – further strengthened quality and risk management across the supply chain.
4. People, Safety & Community: Grounded in a diverse, welcoming workplace culture representing 13+ nationalities, SAFECHEM maintained a record of zero reportable workplace incidents in 2025. Employees averaged at least 4 days of professional training during the year, and the company continued its local community support through charitable donations.
